The unique design of the Baskerville Ultra Muzzle ensures safety of both the dog and anyone around him/her. The specially designed strapping ensures the muzzle will always remain securely in place on your dogs mouth and features two additional points of secure attachment so you can always be confident wherever you go with your dog. The loop at the bottom is designed to attach to your dog’s regular collar and there is an optional, removable over-head safety strap. The specially designed muzzle head ensures your pet can still receive treats for good behaviour and can have a drink if they require it.
When first attaching the Baskerville Ultra to your dogs head, it is best to do this with rewarding them for doing what you want. Have some food in your hand and allow the dog to eat through the muzzle which will encourage him to voluntarily put his nose into the muzzle for you. Forcing him to do this could result in bad behaviour and will make it harder to attach the muzzle the next time you want to go for a walk. Continue to feed him through the muzzle until he is happy, at which point you can then secure the back strap, which should be sufficiently tight to prevent the dog from removing it from scratching or pulling at it.
